Milena Penkowa's The 10 Wise Stones (book/books)

This book offers a completely new and practical solution that you can use every time you are hit by a life crisis (e.g., divorce, layoff, traffic accident, illness, foreclosure, grief, harassment, etc.) that sends you into a dark hole. It is an innovative self-help book based on 10 stones – the 10 wise stones that you must use along the way. Each of the 10 stones represents something undesirable (parts of the crisis) and something new (parts of the solution). The foundation is knowledge about the brain, and it is all evidence-based, even though it is a practical guide that anyone can read without prior knowledge of the brain. At the same time, it is the story of the author's own dark holes, from which she has always fought her way out with the help of the 10 wise stones.

About the author: Milena Penkowa is a brain expert, Cand.med. and holds a Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of Copenhagen. She runs the companies Hjerneeksperten and Milenas Medlemsklub and hosts the TV programs Hjerneeksperten and Milenas Mad on DK4.
